Surprisingly these waffle sticks and chocolate sauce are packed with nutritious ingredients. To make waffle sticks you can use a Belgian waffle maker and cut into stick size pieces. I used a treat baker with a waffle stick mold.
What I love about these waffle sticks is the crunchy texture on the outside and the soft indulgent inside. I love the flavor of almonds and the lightly roasted almonds in the chocolate sauce make a great addition to basic chocolate sauce.
